Paul Gee

Paul Gee is an Emergency Medicine Specialist at Christchurch Hospital and Medical Toxicologist with the National Poisons Centre.  He is a Clinical Lecturer with the Christchurch School of Medicine, University of Otago.

He completed his specialist training in NZ then worked in Australia and the UK.  His research interests are synthetic recreational drugs.  He has published research on BZP, DMAA, synthetic cannabinoids, NBOMes and paracetamol poisoning. Paul has led teams that have won awards from Health Emergency Management New Zealand and the National Health Innovation Awards.
