Vicki graduated from Sheffield University in 1999 and completed her training in Rheumatology and General Medicine in the Wessex region of the UK.
As a registrar she spent a year at Waikato hospital 2003-2004 and was lucky to be able to return as Specialist in 2010. She stepped out of General Medicine into a Health Informatics role in the Midland Clinical Portal Programme in 2018 and this year has returned to fulltime clinical work.
Vicki is the Clinical Director of the Waikato Rheumatology Department and Vice President of the New Zealand Rheumatology Association. Her interests include vasculitis and has been involved in vasculitis research internationally. She introduced the routine use of Ultrasound in the diagnosis of Giant Cell Arteritis at Waikato Hospital in 2014.
