Martin Stiles is the Director of Electrophysiology at Waikato Hospital which provides service to the 5 Midland DHBs. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Waikato Clinical School, University of Auckland. His PhD was on Atrial Flutter and Atrial Fibrillation at the University of Adelaide. He has interests in cardiac rhythm management and performs ablations and device implants. He recently Chaired the International Expert Consensus statement on the Investigation of Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
