Dr Taylor is an ID and general medical physician in Wellington. He graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2005 and worked as a junior doctor in the north of Scotland, before moving to Wellington in 2009 attracted by the coffee.
In 2015 he finished his training and since then has been a consultant at Wellington hospital. In CCDHB he is the lead for Antimicrobial Stewardship, chairs the Immunoglobulin Advisory Group, is currently involved in rolling out the Goals of Care project, has developed an inadvertent interest in influenza research, is a member of the RACP Advanced Training Committee for general and acute medicine, represents ASID on the RACP Adult Medicine Division, and sometimes sees patients.
Outside work he buys more books than he reads.
